Los Altos Family-Oriented Rear Yard

Our design for this rear yard focuses around the remodel of an outdated swimming pool and patio for an active family with three young boys. The pool was renovated with a custom built-in spa, a sheer descent waterfall, cobalt blue tile, and new bullnose coping. Also included are raised planters of multiple heights and a circular seatwall which provide vertical interest and define the pool area. The spaces are creatively designed so as to maintain ample room for circuation, dining, and chaise lounges. Our pool-friendly planting scheme incorporates evergreens and mixed perennials irrigated with a water conserving drip system.
