Mountain Retreat

The owners' desire to rejuvenate the space around their neglected, out of date swimming pool was the inspiration for this hillside renovation. Constructed from concrete sculpted to reflect local natural rock outcroppings, the swimming hole was designed with a walk-in beach, a rocky shoreline and a stream fed waterfall. Providing a backdrop to the swimming hole are a raised stone patio and an outdoor kitchen. The orientation of all the major site features allows for exceptional views.
