DESIGN PROCESS (continued)When a project enters the office of HLD Group it typically follows a common path. Initial meetings and early site visits establish the functional, ecological, and aesthetic goals that will drive the design. Through sketches, elevations, and plan view renderings the principal design features are agreed upon, and construction cost projections are then determined. When a drawing set is complete, assistance is given with contractor referrals and construction bid review. During construction, management meetings ensure a continuing team relationship between landscape architect, contractor, and homeowner.
